Amai meaning something sweet in Japanese and Bento derived from the Chinese term biandang which means "convenient" or "convenience".
Mallory started Amai Bento with just that in mind. After becoming a new stay at home mother and missing her interactions and creativity working outside of her home, she decided to turn her passion of baking into a business to make kawaii donuts and other sweet treats! With the added bonus of being able to stay home with her daughter she is thrilled to share her sweet convenience with you!
